I got to enjoy the private onsen all by myself. All the decorations in the house is heart warming and lovely! I had a wonderful stay and even made friends with other guests. Highly recommend the place!

The washing machine is also an actual dryer in one!

The property is furnished well and reminded me of a personal bach/summer house, feels like home - loved it. The owner left some "welcome" ice cream in the freezer and then brought a watermelon he had grown in his garden as a welcome gift. Nice touch. Big supermarket store right next door - food, drinks, medicines etc. (cash only). Great location - close to major Katsuki attractions, not long drive to Beppu. The host is very friendly and helpful. At the end of the stay, he gave us a tour of Kitsuki samurai residences which was a great bonus. Thank you, sir, it was much appreciated. I highly recommend to stay here if you're visiting Kitsuki, Beppu or nearby areas.
