Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. A lovely traditional building so close to the JR station. The house had beautiful wooden details, sliding doors, tatami mats and a private garden. There was a Japanese style bathroom, which we loved. It had air conditioning, fans and underfloor heating (which we didn’t use as it was hot!) There was shoyu, oil and seasoning in the kitchen, soap and toiletries for the bathroom. The owner was very kind, helpful and polite, and made us feel very welcome. Staying in the house was an experience in itself and it was lovely having somewhere so restful and homelike to return to after busy days. There is a convenience store literally around the corner which was very handy for milk, smoothies, pouches of fruit and snacks for the children. It is also close to the shopping area and other station - although we tended to use the JR station as we were travelling with a four year old with little legs!

Our hostess was so kind and made us feel welcome. My son and I stayed in the room that slept 3 and had a small living space included. It was in a very convenient location and we enjoyed our walk to the Nara park. We would definitely stay here again.
