What an amazing experience it was to stay here and meet some genuinely honest happy people.

Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.

Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our only wish is that we had stayed even longer.

The property is around 33 km from Hirayama Hot Spring, 2.5 km from Kumamoto City Museum and 3.2 km from Kami Kumamoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Kumamoto Castle is 1.8 km away. Spotlessly clean and has all amenities for even a long stay. Right next to city centre. Car park recommended by host was just a few steps away and cheap too. Host very helpful. Place is newly renovated and spacious. Futon was comfortable. Easy access - at ground floor. Not much noise even though just next to the street. Highly recommend.

It was equipped with everything you could need! The kitchen was functional, WiFi worked perfectly and the washing machine was a plus! The beds were comfortable and we had some very good night sleep being surrounded just by nature. The staff is available if needed. The view of mount Aso is amazing. It's located in a little wood area surrounded by fields, 10 min drive from the nearest Onsen Town (recommend trying one of the public ones for sure!). We would love to stay here again!

Located in the Kurokawa Onsen district in Minamioguni, inn NOSHIYU offers 3-star rooms with free WiFi. A hot tub is available for guests. Hacchobaru Power Station Museum is 9.3 km from the bed and breakfast. This was one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. This Inn was extremely clean, stylish, modern, quiet,and in a good location in the small town, with great service staff and access to 7 onsens in a beautiful garden setting with a historical feel. Kurokawa is off the beaten path for westerners but so worth it, and Noshiyu Inn seemed like one of THE top choices in town. It exceeded our expectations and we were pretty amazed by it.

Great view at reasonable price. Very kind hosts and well maintained facility. You may find it rather hard to find the right route to reach there if you’re not accustomed to Japanese rural narrow roads, but it’s definitely worth the try.
