The futons and the pillows were very comfortable. We also had access to a terrace. The bathroom and shower were great. Probably the first hotel where I had an actual overhead shower (there's an ability to switch between the handheld shower and the overhead one) The breakfast is one they make themselves, with vegetables sourced from his garden and homemade bread. It is incredible. As far as my stay in Kanazawa staying here was honestly the highlight. I got my accomodation relatively cheap, but whatever is being asked is worth it for the incredible owner, the authentic Japanese rooms and the amazing breakfast. Everything that's done in this hotel is full of heart.

We didn’t meet any staff during our stay but they were quick to reply via messaging if we needed anything (mainly recommendations for the area!). We had our luggage shipped to this accommodation from our previous location and arrived all ok.
