Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! I thought this would be just a nice sleepover place and nothing more but it is so beautiful and has a very unique traditional feel that it made our stay on the island so much better. You even get free breakfast/dinner if you don't have time to eat outside and depart early in the morning/ don't manage to fetch a table in a reataurant in the evening because there is limited amount of restaurants that are open in late evening or early morning. The whole house is very authentic and the family that runs the place also offers a little souvenir shop with super cheap prices of local souvenirs, some even locally handmade. Thr staff is super nice and the xommom areas welcoming to spend the evenings in game/living room. Also had beautiful garden and amazing views from the rooms right on the sea

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. Everything was simply excellent and absolutely perfect. We felt luxuriously pampered in this beautiful ryokan. Its position is great, just minutes from the Itsukushima shrine and the great torii. It is perched on a hill, so rooms have the most perfect view on the torii and the sea. However, this is not an issue with luggage as there is an on-call free shuttle service from/to the port, that even picks you up on arrival, or delivers your luggage when leaving. Kaiseki dinner and japanese-style breakfast were highlights of our stay and absolutely fairly priced considering the half-board rate of the room. We also enjoyed the private onsen for a thirty minute slot that we could choose at check-in. Our room was very spacious - we guessed it could host 3 more people, with beautiful tatami and complete with yukatas to wear and a nice welcome tea served to us upon arrival. Amazing and unforgettable stay!

First time at miyajiama and i will be back.

Guests staying at this apartment have access to a patio. The property is 700 metres from the city centre and 700 metres from Myoei-ji Temple. Such a perfect stay in Hiroshima. This spotless place exceeded our expectations and made our stay extremely comfortable. This property has been well thought out and includes everything you need. Yukata pyjamas, plenty of towels, amenities such as earplugs and drip coffee, slippers, washing machine with detergent, soaps and shampoo, bidet toilet, pans and pots, dishes, microwave, mini grill oven, TV, vacuum cleaner, umbrella, veranda, clothes spray, iron... I'm not sure I've ever seen a more complete place, and it far outperforms a hotel in terms of price, comfort, amenities, and location. It's a short walk from the "main" areas and food, and plenty of delicious options in streets around the building. Not that it's a major problem in Japan, but feels very secure with double entrance doors (with code). There is also a 7-Eleven opposite the building, and a supermarket is a 15-minute walk. We stayed for one week and it was perfect for nights spent indoors. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended, particularly if in a group. Thank you! Will most certainly return here when visiting Hiroshima again!

We actually kinda booked this apartment by accident, but we absolutely love the room. Everything is clean, spacious and just like the pictures. The ammenities provided were really complete, and loved the comfortable bed & pillows. Good communication and clear instructions from the host as well. Definitely recommended!
