The spacious holiday home features 4 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. The unit is soundproofed and is comprised of a tiled floors as well as a fireplace. The property has an outdoor dining area. This was perfect for our group of friends. Everything was clean and tidy and lots of space. Beds were extremely comfy. Will hopefully be back.

Elizabeth was a great host; she provided a home-cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients from Monaghan, which was fantastic. The rooms were cute and cozy. The bathroom was large, and the shower was very friendly, with excellent water pressure. This was our first overnight stay in Ireland in a commercial, non-hotel environment. We didn't know what to expect from the B&B experience, and overall, it was great. Our host was very knowledgeable of things to do and places to stay in the other cities of Ireland we were traveling to.

Lady of the house was so so nice . Couldn’t ask for more breakfast was delicious

This charming property opens onto grounds with views of a 12th-century Norman motte fort. The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!

I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

I highly recommend this hotel, it is really worth a visit.

Accommodations, parking, beds, location, and hostess are all lovely. We would happily stay here again. After a long day driving in Ireland it was lovely to be greeted by the hostess! Pauline is exceptionally warm and kind. We all enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodations were exceptional! We appreciated the small kitchen and breakfast foods provided. Highly recommend staying here. Easy to locate, good signage, lovely hostess, comfortable beds, and ample parking.
