This inn is like an old-school Zimmer. It is a family owned small hotel where the father cooks, the mother housekeeping and the son is the host / front desk. Our host was super communicative, gave us lifts to different places and provided airport pick ups. Each evening, he helped us to plan the next day, gave us maps, points, helpful tips and booked discount tickets for us, The food is amazing, The dinner is fine and authentic but breakfast was the star of the show, and they even packed us with some snacks for the road. The location is bit secluded: it is very quite with amazing view but you are required a taxi to go around. Overall, it was one of the best stays in mainland China we had and it is absolutely recommended. 11/10

At the holiday home, all units are allergy-free and soundproof. At the holiday home, units have bed linen and towels. Amazing location and very comfortable and clean. Host met me at the city gate to direct me to the property as it was inside an alleyway and would have been difficult to find otherwise. Also helped me get a taxi when I was leaving!

Would highly recommend this place!

Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport is 33 km away. the property is very authentic, and atmospheric. it is like you dive into the different world. rooms are big, which is a very big plus, and have a conditioner heater/cooler. at first it is cold, but then it gets warm very fast (remember we are out of season) I think it is paradise here during the summer. as many of the people wrote there is a night market just by the hotel. Wally helps with everything which is a big relief when you don’t know the area, the language etc, it saves a lot of time. don’t expect 5* hotel, expect adventure. and of course being located almost next to the entrance to the park gives a tremendous convenience. thank you Wally!

The room itself was very clean, with very nice wood furniture. Nice bathroom with fluffy towels. The owner was incredibly welcoming and polite even though we messed up the instructions to the meeting point (he met us at the nearby city gate and then we walked a bit to the hotel - keep in mind there are stairs involved). The offered tea was a nice way to relax after a tiring trip to the city. He also gave us a cool looking map and tips for activities and restaurants. By far the nicest hotel staff we interacted with. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and wish we had allocated more time to this city in our trip.

And the people at the receptions are very friendly and help you with a lot of things (tickets , taxi, advices )
