We stayed warm without heater at upper 40s degrees. 40 degrees and would need heater. Night sky and location was awesome. Comfortable rustic. Moon was out and could see trail without light but bring a flash light. We didn't try to cook. Cool experience and price was half of regular hotel with regular experience in Tusayan village. It's handily located to Grand Canyon. The village of Vallee - has an outstanding early morning breakfast place. It is reasonable value relative to prices everywhere else.
