Absolutely great views! Located in a small village, surrounded by mountains, fresh air and farm noises; nice hotel prior to mountaineering. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and powerful, breakfast was great, host is very friendly. There's no AC in the room, but at night it got quite chilly so there was no need (May).
Definitely no soundproofing and rooster signing at night, but earplugs were provided by host and served us well.
I would recommend for someone who is going hiking or wants to experience smaller towns live in Taiwan
