Very nice place to stay with lovely staff. We had a massive room and there was a washing machine in the King Suite that was quite useful to do laundry, however a clothesline to hang clothes would have been appreciated. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a luggage storage facility which is great and easy to use. We had an issue with the room key not working at the entrance and they were very responsive on Line. There’s a little plastic door on the card reader and you’re supposed to open it even though sometimes it works fine without opening it. The wifi is very good, we were working remotely and had video calls and had no connection issues. Highly recommend Chapter 127 for anyone who needs a place to stay in Tainan.

The staff were super friendly, helped us to get settled when we arrived early and to book a taxi when we left. Loved the extra touches like fruit on arrival and the map of good food places. Very cool vibe. Great location. Would definitely recommend!

I love interacting with the staff, they are all very friendly and often go the extra mile to ensure your stay is well taken care of. They have answered my every query as best they can, even when they were occupied. The hostel provides towels, which is not often the case in other hostels. They also have female sanitary products, ear plugs, and toothpaste for free. Breakfast includes 3 mini croissants and chocolate spread, with hot chocolate drink. 101% will stay if I return, and will recommend fellow backpacker friends to stay here too.

Perfect place to stay in Tainan and Dean is just the best! He helps you with everything and is just a great host. The hotel is clean and super nice with all it's plants. We surley go back :)

Fabulous location, great staff, and comfortable, spacious room. My wife and I were particularly impressed with Bruce and Amber who went over and beyond to make our stay delightful. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was equipped with a refrigerator and a clothes washer, which we appreciated hugely after being on the road for two weeks. Parking for our car was located just steps away from the main entrance. We appreciated the electronic door locks which eliminated the responsibility of looking after a room key. After conversing with Bruce about where to eat in Tainan, he gave us a list of his personal favourites. We particularly liked his recommendation for finding a vendor for Mango Shaved Ice. On our own, we found a great hot pot restaurant just a two block stroll away. The location of the Syuan Hotel was excellent, being close to the Confucius Temple, Snail Alley and other sites. The superb Tainan Night Market is only a 10 minute taxi ride away; Anping Old Street takes about 20 minutes. Our photos of the room were taken when we departed. The room looked much better on arrival.
