We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vasacenter! From the very beginning, the hosts and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. When we faced an unexpected car breakdown and had to take our vehicle to the mechanic, they were incredibly helpful and supportive, offering assistance wherever possible. Not only did they help us with transportation options and advice, but they also made sure our stay continued smoothly without any additional stress. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was a pleasure to stay at such a well-run establishment with such lovely people. The accommodation itself was also wonderful—comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive environment. The apartment is super for one person, it has everything you need and fair size if you are used to cabins. The little flood happens when using shower indeed, but it does not bother. Also host provided all the stuff like linens, towels, soap and etc - which was surprising as I brought my linens :) The area is very quiet and safe, not so much to do there in October, but as a base point it is a top place.

We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)
