Aneta is an amazing host with tremendous positivity. Was lovely to experience sharing the field with her male Scottish bull! Bonus for anyone non-local, Aneta and her husband both speak fluent English! I also had the chance to taste the local apples from her parent's orchard.

I liked this place but I can imagine it would be a nightmare in the seaon or at weekends. The site is simply massive with all sorts of sporting facilities, slot machines, a huge open air theatre and rows upon rows of tables and benches. It was quite fun watching some young men competing on a punching machine - fearsome! When busy it must be teeming with people and their kids. My room was large, overlooking the forest and was quiet with good bed linen. The beer was good and the staff surprisingly friendly as normally people get hardened when dealing with crowds of people. There is choice between the restaurant and a snack bar and the breakfast buffet was simple but adequate. The lake was warm and I enjoyed a swim - it was quite shallow with its depth about up to one's shoulders.
