Amazing!!! It’s a little heaven - very cute garden and modern interior. The host is lovely, giving us some tips on the region and making sure we have everything we needed (and offering us Omani sweets!). It’s very clean, functional and calm. There is also a little barbecue. The place is very well located - 30 mins from Nizwa and other villages (Al Hamra, Birkat, Misfah), in the center of Bahla and 1.30min from Jebel shams. It felt like home!

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. Suliman helped us when we struggled with unexpected problem with our car rental, prepared a detailed plan of our sightseeing, reccomended us great restaurants and was very protective even after we left. This is not just some accommodation, this is home. Emina made us feel very welcomed at her house and along with the unique architecture, the surroundings and also other lovely guests, this was an experience we will never forget. Wish we had more time to spend here. We spent one night on our way from Muscat to Jebel Shams. The rooms are simple but clean, the bathroom was well equipped. Incredible views waited for us on the rooftop along with pet dogs making us company. I have to admit the breakfast was rather smaller/simpler but everybody has different taste, so it’s hard to please all. Hoping to come sometime again!

Incredible owner of that place :) He is very open, helpful with everything, and he is a super nice person to talk to. Here I understand and know omanian culture more and met really interesting people. Fun fact: 228Hostel is so far the only hostel in Oman :) Everything in the hostel works perfectly. There is a fridge, toaster, microwave, hot shower, laundry for additional fee, there are mosquito nets in the windows of each room, and even hairdryer in the ladie's room :) Also, there is a rooftop space for relaxation and views during sunsets and sunrises :)) WiFi works great! You can borrow a bicycle to see the village. I found here everything that I needed during my trip and more... :) I recommend this hostel for every traveler with open mind.

Cozy Rooms in an old Omani building. The area surrounded by palms oasis where you can talk a walk, ride bikes, scooters, houses. The rooms was clean. Staff were nice and helpful
