Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

The location is quite convenient to access from the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. But the best part of our stay were the staff, who were very helpful and kind. They gave us a welcome fruit juice, arranged an airport transfer, and the next day a trip to Colombo train station.

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

What a lovely hostess! A truly kind and helpful lady who went out of her way to be helpful. Her home is a lovely oasis and we enjoyed the wee tailor bird that greeted us in the morning tapping on our window. Breakfast was wonderful and especially enjoyed the fruit. She also arranged an airport pickup that worked flawlessly.

This was by far the nicest guesthouse we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. The owners are lovely and welcoming, the house is beautiful and comfortable, and the English breakfasts are divine. We enjoyed everything about it. Highly, highly recommended!

Very friendly and hospitable owners and staff! They made us to feel being at home. Calm and quiet surroundings guaranteed a good night sleep though it was only 5 mins walk to the main street. The breakfasts were fantastic!

This is a very well-run and very friendly family guest house. The hosts are so hospitable and helpful that I was quick to book a return visit. Excellent breakfasts, lovely garden and located in a pleasant, quiet area.
