The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

I've visited plenty of hotels in Sri Lanka but here i had the most warm welcome. I stayed in cabana which made in traditional rural style. All nessesary facillities (fan, moscito net, privet bathroom) were there. Host Prasanna is amazing and empathetic person. He always helped us with all our reqests but on the same time he wasn't intrusive. Besides, I’d like to mention good value for money, convenient location (10 minutes to beach by foot and 5 minutes by watersport lagoon by tuk-tuk) and delicious (non spicy!) traditional food.

This was our first stay in Sri Lanka, and it was absolutely amazing! The location is stunning and incredibly peaceful, offering plenty of privacy, various cozy spots to relax, and beautifully designed rooms with an outdoor bathroom. The food was simply outstanding. The chef prepares a delicious and varied three-course meal daily, probably the best we had during our entire trip. You can even watch him cook and get an insight into his culinary skills. The rest of the staff is incredibly friendly too and always there to assist with a smile. And to top it all off, there were three adorable puppies. In short, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a breathtaking setting, warm hospitality, and incredible food. Many thanks and we'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Dune Towers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they prepared some delicious lunch and dinner for us during our stay. We especially appreciated being allowed to use the facilities for a few extra hours after check-out — a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even better. The building itself is truly unique, with the dune tower design adding a special touch to the atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The location is also great — just a short walk from the beach and with a lovely swimming pool on site. While it is a bit remote from other places, we didn’t mind at all. We were happy with the food options provided and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the beach and pool. All in all, a peaceful and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Harshan will surely remain one of my most beautiful encounters in Sri Lanka. With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. Sun Wind Beach Kite Resort is a place with an incredibly positive vibe. Spending a few weeks with Susantha's family is an experience in itself. Delicious homemade dinners prepared by his mom, a always-smiling dad, and Susantha with his unique outlook on life. More importantly, when it comes to learning how to kite surf, I couldn't have found a better place. Susantha is a passionate person dedicated to ensuring his team teaches you how to ride a kite and have fun doing it. They wouldn't let me give up when I was feeling overwhelmed, and eventually, I started riding the board with the kite. Huge thanks to the entire team: Susantha, Chamindha, Denniske and other friends for great adventure and helping me fulfill my dream😊😊

I absolutely loved this spot. We were in the little 4-plex on the 2nd floor, we had a view of the ocean and kites right from our balcony. The balcony is huge, tons of shade, seating and a table. The room is also bright, spacious and CLEAN. The shower works well and bathroom is large and clean. You have a huge counter top in the room, and the AC works really well. Bed is comfy, and huge mosquito net! The dining area is nicely set up, open air and clean. The property itself is just so tidy and comfortable. Every now and then you might see a donkey pass through. Easy walking distance to small shops for snacks. The family who run this place are so nice and generous. They're extremely attentive and make sure to have any needs met. Food was delicious, and you have unlimited coffee and tea available at all times! This was the perfect soft landing we needed in Kalpityia. I highly recommend staying here!!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Kalpitiya, Dolphin Village is a homestay surrounded by views of the sea.
