Heavenly meals. Very kind staff. Gorgeous view. The location is hidden between the mountains next to a beautiful temple. Since it is not accessible by public transportation, they offer services to and from the station. They also drove us to the Adachi Museum.

We were so looked after from the moment we arrived to when we departed. We chose to stay here to have our last night in Japan to be in the most extraordinary setting and to have access to the Adachi Museum. The room was stunningly beautiful, comfortable and we loved the private onsen. The amenities provided were great too. All of our meals, dinner and breakfast, were a delight to the taste buds as well as visually pleasing.

The guest house and host were both amazing! It's a very nice and clean place, you have a washing machine, can take a ride with one of the bicycles and just enjoy your time in a less busy area of Japan with very friendly locals. The host himself is also really nice and made sure that I enjoy my time, helped me to get to several places and I generally had a great time with him as well. I only stayed for one night, but next time I'll definitely stay longer here!

This is the 2nd time staying at COCORETO. A place that worths revisiting tells everything. Mackey is welcoming & helpful as usual and he checks everything for us before staying. Excellent tatami room in a guesthouse in Matsue. It is close to Matsue Castle and well connected to other areas, including Matsue Station, by bus. There are some great restaurants about 10 minutes’ walk away and a nice bakery close by for breakfast. Emi-san is an exceptional host who is very welcoming and gives great advice to help you enjoy your stay. I would absolutely recommend.
