We were blown away over how great Ajito Hostel was! We couldn’t believe it is a hostel. The quality was far above a good hotel! The place was so neat, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and with so many services like free coffee, local fruit, water and fresh bed every day! Everything seemed brand new. It was truly the best place we’ve stayed on our trip through Japan so far. We highly recommend staying here!

Extremely well thought- out guesthouse in a convenient location to visit the Kumano Kodo and it's sights. Flawlessly clean, very cozy and stocked with all the amenities you might need. Nice English-speaking owner. Can't praise it enough!

The guesthouse is conveniently located near Kumano Hayatama Taisha and the bus stop, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The owner is exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to assist me when I had an accident, which I truly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.

Our hosts Tetsuji and Mio were the most lovely ever - cooked for us despite booking saying no meals included, had breakfast with us, introduced us to their friends, showed us around the neighbourhood, even drove us to the station at the end of our stay. Super location - barely 2 min walk to the Kamikura shrine, with the great sky view of the town, bubble tea shop literally 20 steps from the door, away from streets so very quiet at night. Really perfect! Lovely home - very quaint feel, with a fun mystery puzzle to the house. The full mystery will likely take days, if not weeks to solve, but the basic story can be learnt in a few hours, and the decor is wonderful. Overall, best stay on our honeymoon and has convinced us that we need to move to the countryside one day! Thanks again Tetsuji, Mio, and Kumano Adventures! :D

Hosts are nice. Rooms are clean. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of a trandition Japanese house, great for culture experience. Location easy to approach, not far away from train and bus station. It was surpised that there's bathtub, which prefect for relaxing after visited Kumano kodo.

Room was super comfortable, had a tiny kettle and a fridge which were very convenient if you wanted to keep food for the next day or boil water for your tea. Also I had to work remote and the wi-fi was strong enough.

Beautiful, incredibly kind team, gorgeous location… and please trust their recommendation and go to the small ramen shop owned by the guest house downhill. It was an unforgettable experience.

Hot-spring baths and massages can be enjoyed at Nakanoshima, located a 5-minute ferry ride from Kanko Sanbashi pier. Traditional Kaiseki dinners and rooms with views of Nachi Bay are featured.

Extremely luxurious and premium feel. Many additional snacks and items were provided. Dinner was fantastic. The outdoor trek was also fun and provided good views.
