A great choice for staying in Koyasan. We loved everything about this place. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We loved the meditation and morning ceremony. It was such an amazing, unique experience. The monks are most welcoming and accommodating. Ryokan style rooms with futons, which can be a bit hard, as expected (part of the experience). The place looks incredible, still attains so much history and ancient culture within its walls. It was incredible to be a part of that for a bit and attending the ceremonies was the highlight of our stay.
