Incredibly clean with a lovely bath and very comfortable futon. The interior is a nice blend of traditional and modern features (I liked the tiling details!). An easy walk to both Tachibana and Asuka temples. Communication (Japanese) was clear and responsive.

one of the best experiences you can have when traveling japan, especially if you plan visiting Nora and would like to get to know the countryside. run by an amazing and warm-hearted couple. you can feel their heart and love for details/authenticity. I strongly recommend to order the japanese dinner and breakfast. after a long flight, I had the best sleep since a long time. hope I come back some day with by gf (thanks again for the gift!) and/or brother/sister.

Our stay at Kotorian was excellent: the house is very authentic and wonderfully renovated, the hosts were very kind and we enjoyed the location close to the Asuka sights and the train station.
