The host Michiyo was the absolute sweetest and kindest lady. She brought my kids to her garden to pick fresh veges and was so warm. The place was beautiful, and made the experience immersive.

The house is gorgeous, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The owner's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We're especially grateful for the generous sharing of their farm produce - the vegetables, rice, soy sauce, and BBQ sauces were all incredibly fresh and delicious. Even though the location is distant, it provides peacefulness. Breakfast and dinner were both thoughtfully prepared. Additionally, it is delectable. The quantity is enormous; it is nearly impossible to consume it in its entirety. The thermal spring is outstanding. It is very relaxing to soak. The owner is exceedingly hospitable. I was generally quite impressed.

Hotel Fuki no Mori is a 20-minute ride from JR Nagiso Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. Guests can enjoy walks at the garden or the scenic areas surrounding the hotel.

A beautiful luxury hotel set in forest outside Tsumago, with hotel shuttle bus access. Everything was perfect- from the warm welcome, being conducted to our room, shown the onsen and dining room, where breakfast and dinner were exceptional (in Keisei style and well worth the additional charge). It was a most relaxing stay after our Magome to Tsumago walk- 6 hours in drenching rain- but still very beautiful to be again on this marvellous walk.

Mokki STARDUST GLAMPING, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Achi, 8.3 km from Ichiban Shimizu, 27 km from Otsumago, as well as 27 km from Kotoku-ji Temple.

The room was a normal and very clean Japanese style Tatami room. It was extraordinary to be able to use the Onsen of the Fukinomori Hotel next door. The personal was very friendly. Just be aware of bringing your own food. Coffee, tea, hot water and a microwave are available.

Room spacious and well-equipped. The beautiful garden view was soothing and refreshing. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and polite. He tried his very best to answer our every question and helped arranging our stargazing night tour efficiently. Breakfast was good.
