Marvellous establishment run by superlative hosts Yumi san and family. The true essence of Japanese hospitality - at its very finest. My wife and I spent 2 nights here as we explored the surrounding mountains - we hiked up to Enzanso hut and Mt. Tsubakuro. The owner was extremely helpful with our planning as she helped us with the rental equipment that we needed for the climb (we could have it delivered to the guest house a few days in advance). She also informed us of the current weather/snow conditions on the mountain...thank you so much again for this, we really appreciated it!! Otherwise the guest house is very nice, clean and brand new. We saw there is a yoga studio in the same facility - but I suppose that is aimed more for local/Japanese visitors - it looked really nice though.

We decided to book something a little off the path, the host was very helpful with transfers and ensuring we had everything we needed. It was clean, tidy, cosy, the bathroom was beautiful. We took a short walk in the morning up the hill and saw wild monkeys! I would stay here again.

A perfect villa, it has everything you need. The location is inside the forest. There are 3 more villas in the complex nearby. The place is designed in a stunning way, there is even free Netflix and you can also watch it in Hebrew. There is a private onsen with spring water and complete privacy. The town with its shops and restaurants is a 20-minute drive away. You can buy meat in the town and make a barbecue in the villa, we received a complete barbecue kit including coals. There is even underfloor heating. Hiroki Imai welcomed us with a lot of kindness and professionalism, you can contact him on WhatsApp before arrival and during your stay.
