We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-furnished and fully equipped apartment. The garden and pool were perfect for relaxing, the view is great, and everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Fantastic location. 200 meters from the escalators that lead to the center of the old town. Lovely staff. The host Pietro was very charming and helpful, meeting all our needs. Large room, large bed. Very clean shower and toilet. Everything was clean and tidy as if we were the first to stay there. European breakfast. Free coffee and water throughout the stay. Highly recommend to those coming to Spoleto.

Absolutely the cleanest accommodation I've ever stayed in. The apartment smells wonderful. The towels and bedding too! The kitchen has everything you need. There isn't a speck of dust here, truly perfectly clean. Plus, it's very close to the train station.

Prior to arriving at the apartment, communication with our host Liuba was very good She met us for check-in . She was friendly and her attention to detail was excellent. A modern, spacious, well presented and well equipped apartment. It was very comfortable and very clean. The location is very convenient in the city centre, just outside the ZTL which is convenient if you have a car. There is private parking available at the rear of the apartment. Would stay there again.

We loved our stay here, so much so that we are returning in a couple of days. The owner was so warm and hospitable upon check in. He even gave us a lift into town to collect our rental car. A great breakfast!

    Walking on Camino di Francesco, we very much enjoyed this nice room in a very old, historic building. Everything was very clean. Nazzaro was so lovely and attentive. He made sure we could have dinner in the village and we took the best foccacia ever with us for lunch. Grazie mille :-)

    This is the second time we stayed. The property has a lot of history and the owner is part of the history. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you needed. The very best Nazzaro picked up beer from local store to make our arrival from the hike even better. He drove and arranged pickup to:from local restaurant. Breakfast had everything you wanted both salt and sweet, eggs and good coffee to set us up for the next day hiking. I keep coming back to Villa Cardinale, it is always a family feeling and warmth to the place.

    Nazarro was an incredible host - from the second we arrived in the village he made us feel welcome, guided us to the place and organized dinner on the way! The breakfast was amazing with freshly made Foccacia!

    A wonderful stay at the Villa on my "Via di Francesco". The Villa is between Trevi and Spoleto in Poreta and is a great place to relax in rural italy after the busy Towns. Beautifull Villa with a very spacious room. The host is very helpfull and offered me the choice of either have a local make me a simple diner or bring me to a restaurant. I did chose the simple dinner (bread, tomato, egg, vegetable pie) which was a delight.

    Nazzaro was the perfect host! We hiked the Cammino di San Francesco and arrived in Poreta on Easter Sunday. He made sure we could have lunch in a local shop (which was closed) and drove us to a great restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh local products, and he even packed the leftovers for our hike. Our stay at Villa del Cardinale was truly an amazing Cammino experience.

    The location was exceptional. Lovely to stay in a tiny village perched on the side of a mountain & mingle with the friendly natives, something we could only dream about in Australia😊 The property was beautifully kitted out with antique furniture & every need for our stay was thoughtfully anticipated. Loved the bonus cave rooms complete with its stone & rock floors, walls & curved ceilings- make a wonderful nightclub!
