The genuine welcome when we arrived. The charm and character of this beautiful country house, steeped in history. The original features, painted tiles, staircase… all give such a sense of being somewhere truly Sicilian. The food - breakfast is a feast! Dinner on the evening we were there was delicious and good value.

Davide is an extremely welcoming and thoughtful host, always available for advice and assistance. We had a wonderful time at Camurria Siciliana, and it would certainly be the place we'd choose again for a future stay in Piazza Armerina. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean, quiet, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Furthermore, the location is perfect for walking through the historic center and walking to both the bus stops for Catania Airport and the shuttle to the famous Villa Romana del Casale. The breakfast was excellent. Absolutely wonderful display of food. Meats, Cheeses freshfruit. Juices, Homemade cookies A wonderful display of homemade marmalades and Jams. Our host Hector cooked us dinner, a culinary delight. He does it because he loves doing it. Enes was extremenly helpful and one could see that she also enjoyed meeting people.

This is a B&B as you always want them to be. I always write my reviews about the accommodations at home after the trip. Then it’s easy for me to pick out the highlights and write a correct representation of the experiences and this in relation to the other visited places. B&B Villa Roma was the ideal place for me to stay during my September trip to Sicily. This in terms of reception, friendliness, comfort, cleanliness and location. I stayed there for 4 nights and from Piazza Armerina I also visited Villa Romana del Casale, Aidone and Morgantina. The B&B is located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful old building (no elevator) and has 3 rooms. My room had 3 beds (1 double bed and 2 single beds). Another room was a double room. Bathrooms are ensuite. I didn’t see the third room. Even though I travelled alone, I got the room with 3 beds. The nice thing here is that you pay per person where I have to pay for the room in many other places despite the fact that I was travelling alone. This room can therefore have 4 different prices depending on how many people you are travelling with. A photo is attached. Apparently this B&B is not very well known yet. In September there were only other travellers for one night. The ensuite bathroom was quite large, very modern and certainly comfortable. My spacious room was also very neat and comfortable. In the apartment there’s a kitchen where the owner comes to prepare breakfast, a dining room where it is served and an entrance hall. It’s possible to leave your luggage in that hallway on the day of check-out. Giuseppino is an extremely friendly and good host. When you check in, he asks you what you like for breakfast the next morning and at what time you want it. Then he buys everything and makes sure it’s ready at that time. Continuation of review below.
