Recently restored, but still full of the original character and charm, it was a great place to have a chill day by the pool or to explore Tuscany. The hosts were great, super friendly, and offered a fantastic family style dining experience. The night we were there for the meal, everyone staying joined in, so we were around 20 people outside on long tables, great atmosphere, and the food and wine was top. Highly recommended.

I love giving the max rate and this is definetly a 10++++++ stars location! This place is the most amazing accomodation we've had in our travels, around Europe. If you want the real autentic feel of Tuscany, what you've seen in movies, read about, this is it! Cypress trees, vineyard, Tuscany hills, classic tenuta house, pool, terraces, silence, the views... The place is conviniently located, on a tiny secluded road from the main one, 50 min to Florence or Siena, 15 min to Arezzo, around 1h15 to the other cities you'll plan to visit. The rooms are better than in pictures, extremely clean, comfortable, all needed toiletries, lots of towels, nothing is missing! The hosts are the best you'll ever want, so friendly and available, with suggestions for everything you can do around, or here (you have a nice presentation video of their activities in the room). Breakfast is yumm, Italian style sweet & sour, plenty to choose from. You can go see the animals, walk around the vineyard, get some bikes for a promenade, picnics, stargazing, horse riding you name it! Too bad we dont have more time to spend here, but we will be back for sure 🤗

Easy to follow instructions prior to check-in, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great as well, exactly what we were looking for - small town, less touristy. Also a big thank you to the owner, Max , who was very welcoming, kind and accommodating with a last minute request.

i can highly recommend this accommodation! the apartment is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. tidy, charming rooms with a lot of space and its own feel good style. not even speaking of the breathtaking view of the balcony. with a car you can easily reach so many beautiful spots - from siena to firenze... and the best: the two hosts are extremely helpful and generous. if you need something - wine, honey, grappa - no problem. all products are from the region for absolutely fair prices. they even offered us their homemade food: apple cake, meat balls - just because they are incredible polite people. so, if you are looking for a quiet, idyllic vacation that feels like home ... here you go. thanks for this wonderful stay. we will definitely come back! :)

Very quiet and cozy place to stay for at least couple of nights and enjoy the countryside. The rooms are spotless with private bathrooms, the host is utmost nice and brings fresh pastry every morining and makes good cappuccino.     The place is a beautifully refurbished old Palazzo, decorated with really good taste. The quiet surroundings were perfect. It's a really good choice to explore the area around (1h to Siena/ Firenze). The village is really small, there was no shop or restaurant opened. This did not bother us, we adored the unusual silence, but it's useful to know.

    Good location, short distance to surrounding villages.Quiet room and location. Hair detergent and soap in the bathroom. The room was not hot and there is a cooler in the room. The host Max was really friendly and helpful. It was the 70th birthday of a former resident in the village and we were invited. Food and drink were good. Max was involved in organizing the whole event. If you had any questions, Max always answered very quickly.

    A great experience. Simon, the owner has been very kind and helpful. We stayed 3 wonderful days visiting the villages around as Monte San Savino, Arezzo, Anghiari, and all the valley which has gorgeous views.

    Very good location in a pretty special location. The room was interesting on two levels , tastefully decorated. The view from the windows are amazing over the countryside. The owner very gentle and available for info and questions. The village is small but good restaurants to choose from.

    The breakfast was excellent, the landlady is very helpful and gathers any information you might be interested in. There was also a family with a handicapped child and they were fully welcoming and supportive to this family. The house is a bit remote, therefore it is very calm. As there are only five rooms, there is enough space for all guests. From every spot of the property you have a nice view into the hills of Tuscany. From the front side you look directly towards the little village of Civitella with its castle.

    It's really delightful to have a chance to stay in an 18th-century building. The furniture and the interior decorations take you back to that time. Free parking right in front of the building in that small square. You have a coffee machine and an Italian breakfast to be taken in your room. Even though it's a small village, the surrounding views are stunning and you can find a few local places to eat. I definitely recommend it!
