Our best stay in Iceland. The place is gorgeous, both location, directly on the fjord, and the guesthouse itself. The shared kitchen/ dining room is comfortable and welcoming, with large windows overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean and nice, with good breakfast. The location is AMAZING and the little house makes you feel you are in a fairy tail. Even if we didn't get much in contact with the owner, check in and out was simple and easy. Very clean facility and is highly recommended for anyone who wants to clear his or hers mind of city noise.

Everything, especially the owners were extremely nice, polite and kind (especially the old lady). Rooms were comfy, they have 2 toilets and even a hot tub. Amazing and cozy place to stay. Very recommendable.

These Northern Iceland wooden bungalows are 50 minutes’ drive from Akureyri. Each has a private terrace with an outdoor hot tub and mountain views of the Tröllaskagi Peninsula.

We have forgotten to lock the key for the bungalow in the safe and took with us to Reykjavik. We sent it via Airmail, so it arrived the same day in Akureyri. The people have been very nice and there was no anger in any way. They had to pick up the key in Akureyri. They told us not to mind for our mistake. This is exeptional. Many thanks to the people from Brimnes Cabins. We'll be back.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Ólafsfjörður, Klara Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.
