Our best stay in Iceland. The place is gorgeous, both location, directly on the fjord, and the guesthouse itself. The shared kitchen/ dining room is comfortable and welcoming, with large windows overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean and nice, with good breakfast. We have forgotten to lock the key for the bungalow in the safe and took with us to Reykjavik. We sent it via Airmail, so it arrived the same day in Akureyri. The people have been very nice and there was no anger in any way. They had to pick up the key in Akureyri. They told us not to mind for our mistake. This is exeptional. Many thanks to the people from Brimnes Cabins. We'll be back.

The location is amazing! The view, the space. The cottages are at a good distance from each other, you have privacy. The cabin is amazing, the kitchen has everything you need, the bed and pillows are very comfy. All the facilities are great and very clean. The best for last, the hot tub. It's private, on the doorstep, with amazing view, where you can also see the northern lights from. No light pollution. It's available 24/7, what else can I say about it. Overall, it's probably the best place I've ever stayed anywhere. Would go back immediately.
