The accommodations are beautiful, with new appliances, everything was very clean, fridge was good size to hold groceries, beds were super comfortable, deck to view the water was wonderful, hosts were friendly and available if we had any questions. Good directions to the accommodations, really beautiful place, wonderful experience and easy to reach off ring road.

We stayed at several places around Iceland for a similar price, but nothing came close to the experience we had at this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They personally showed us to our room, which was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. We were amazed at how many extras were included: we received bath robes, we could do our laundry, make tea and waffles, enjoy homemade rhubarb jam straight from their garden, and even wash our car! On top of that, the relaxing sauna and hot tub made it the perfect end to the day of exploring. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and the warmth and generosity of the hosts made a lasting impression. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and family – and we hope to return ourselves someday!

Dreamy location with Icelandic horses just outside the door and view over the beautiful fjord. Host was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant for dinner in the harbour (go search the seal centre and the restaurant is just above).

The apartment was spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The hot tub looking over the waterfall was a unique experience. The owners and animals were so friendly.
