The apartment was easy to find and there was free parking in front. The rooms were clean and there were all the amenities needed for our stay. There is a Bonus right around the corner, which made shopping for food easier. The host was wonderful, we wanted to watch some local TV station and in 5 minutes he was there to show them to us. Perfect location to go on a walk to the city, but also to for going on adventures outside of Reykjavik.

1. It was super clean! 2. Owner was very responsive on Booking.com and the instruments on how to enter the building and apartment was well explained 3. Comfy mattresses: I was not well on the first night so was very grateful for a good night’s rest 4. Newly renovated/ built 5. Parking is right by the building entrance! 6. Well-equipped kitchen with quality tea (Pukka） and a Nespresso machine 7. 5 minutes walk to Reykjavik Kitchen 8. 7 minutes walk to the Storm Hotel where we were picked up for the Northern Lights tour

The apartment is bright and spacious, really well kept and new structure. It's perfect for a stay in Reykjavik if you are also planning to have a car and move around. It's super easy to find a parking spot nearby. Position is great, just take in consideration 10 minutes walk to the main "central street". The host was extremely available and nice and always responsive when we had questions.

Everything was absolutely perfect! It's a charming and welcoming place, exactly as shown at the pictures and as described. Clean, lovely furnishings and a great location close to everything. Even if you're without a car, the main pickup spot for almost every Tour is just 500m walk away. Also at least two supermarkets are just around the corner, main shopping street about 3min to walk, and a lovely view at the mountains. We would definetly stay here again! 👍

    Quite special place: a group of cottages by the sea, far out on a promontory, fishing village-themed with Iceland horses grazing outside. Charming interior with partially handcrafted furniture. I liked it, but it may not be for everyone. You need to have a car. Also note that checkin and checkout are self-service, there is no staff here.

    We were here for the 3rd time, so that means we almost fall in love with this place. Surrounded by the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. You can walk around the village and relax. This is the great place to see the Aurora due to low city light around (and we saw that!). Hot tub is a big plus, only if you are in cottage where is this hottub, you hear people walking on the top of the roof, but hot tub is open only till 10pm, so for the night is calm and quiet.

    The room is decorated in fisherman village style. The weather is very freezing cold, I requested more heater for our room. The staff is very great in service and help us warmer. the location is very good for people with early flight. we stayed here in the last night and the northern light came to say good bye to us. Amazing

    Very nice location. The room is nice and big and in a good condition. The old fisherman's village look is wel presented throughout the whole accomodation. The hottub is nice and warm and gives you a nice view.

    Cozy room with private bathroom. Clean, lots of surfaces where to stow your stuff, comfortable beds, small fridge and an amazing view of the seaside. There is a hot tube and a sauna that you can use if you want. The village is 15 min away from Reykjavik by car and in the evening is quite dark so we could see the Northern Lights just from outside our room. The streets to reach it were always clean, so it wasn't difficult to get there. I would definitely choose it again!

    The village is by the tip surrounded by the sea. I stayed here several times over the past four years because of its remote location. If you want to be away from crowds and noise, this place is for you. It also has a hot-tub and sauna. Room is reasonably comfy but size of the basin is fairly small. Only issue about fisherman is that there’s a restaurant there but never in operation. So you would need to get prepared for making arrangements for breakfast or dinner.
