The property is a gem and a bit quirky, which suited us well. The rooftop bar was a nice surprise but the in house elevator was the icing on the cake. The rooms were furnished luxuriously. Our family had a wonderful time by the pool and garden

Wonderful location, on a par with Ashtamudi Villas also under the same ownership, but very different. This looked over the open lake, with an extensive lawn, whereas that was full of shady trees. Staff were excellent in both places, and produced excellent breakfasts.

Our stay at Mundro Garden Homestay was amazing. Deepa and her family were so welcoming and kind. We were always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. The room was very comfortable and clean and was located in a nice quiet, private corner of the garden. The table and chairs outside offered a great space to relax and eat meals. The homestay offers bicycle rental at a very reasonable 200 rupees per day. The food prepared every day was amazing! Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed trying all of the local Keralan dishes that Deepa and her family made. You must also take the boat tour, it really showcases the beauty of the island. Overall, we absolutely love this homestay and will definitely return if we come back to Kerala!
