The cosiness of the property. Very nostalgic 90's feel, in a good way. Host Catherine was lovely and at hand whenever I had a question. The location was great. Ample parking. Warm house. Amazing shower. Beautiful scones. Cosy beds and very well equipped.

Was a rainy day when we arrived at the house but we had a very warm welcome from the hosts. Achill Island was a beautiful and interesting spot to visit and the B&B was just in a perfect spot to drive to where we wanted to visit. Also we got a lovely breakfast despite having some dietary restrictions. I didn't inform about them beforehand but the host was very nice and prepared us a great breakfast anyway. Parking in front of the house was free and easy so bonus points for that. There were a kettle for water so we could have a nice evening tea and some complementary biscuits to go with it and who doesn't love some biscuits!? =)

Lovely cottage. Very cozy. Loved the sheep roaming past the windows. Excellent pub just down the road. Val is an excellent host. Lots of great local info on things to do and places to eat. We would go back here in a heart beat!
