Our stay was so charming its hard to describe. It was our first night in Ireland and Adare Country House was like staying with family, It was so quaint and friendly, welcoming, warm, so traditional too. The owners Dennis and Elaine (I think) were the cutest Irish couple you could hope to imagine, we even took photos with them. The breakfast was hand cooked and huge variety. I didn't want to leave. Beds in room so comfortable, everything clean and fresh with old school charm. This is a fabulous stop on the way between Dublin and the Ring of Kerry. Lots of parking and a block from the local Adare main road and the restaurants and pubs. A cute historical village, we LOVED it xo

The locality is beautiful, the room looks good and Sheelagh the landlady was so warm and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was very thoughtful and kind. The location was superb once we found out that driving up and down was easy (seeing as the drivers in Ireland are so considerate). However, Sheelagh needs to brush up on her recommendations (sorry Sheelagh, JP Clarkes food was awful).

With free Wi-Fi throughout and private parking on site, this guest house has a peaceful reading room and a breakfast room overlooking Bunratty village. Shannon Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive away.

Joe made us very welcome and went above and beyond to help us! Our room and other facilities were absolutely spotless, having the heating on in the evening and early morning made our room very cosy (we visited late September). The choices at breakfast were fantastic and certainly more than sufficient to satisfy everyone´s taste. We would have gladly stayed longer!
