Pleasant, peaceful accommodation. Comfortable and quiet room, easy to get in and out, and Bridie is such a kind host! I arrived late in the evenings and left early each morning for a horse show, but everything about the stay was convenient and Bridie went out of her way to make sure I was looked after. This was my second visit and I plan to return. Thank you!

The location was amazing. I’d walked by this cottage and the Hideaway many times but going inside was something else . Just gorgeous. Aisling left some groceries - fresh country eggs, juice, tea/coffee, milk, bread, biscuits … all of the essentials to get started. Absolutely loved it and showed it off to all who would come and look in the door!

A spotless room on a beautiful spot, close to Cavan town & other small villages 5' away driving. The hosts were extremely kind & friendly, as well as their furry friends. The bed was extremely comfortable & the room was spacious and with nice viewings. High recommendable Irish breakfast!

Veronica was very helpful when our plans changed slightly and could not have been more helpful. We had Tea, Coffee, Milk and biscuits left our for us and they had also lit the stove to ensuring that the property was nice and cosy. Excellent hosts!

The house was really lovely, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside with incredible views over the lake. Quiet neighbourhood. A few minutes walk into the village, which had everything we needed. There was a wooden pier with steps into Garty Lough for swimmers. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to my messages with extra information.

    Lovely cozy cottage, house and grounds clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the conservatory, kids loved exploring the garden and sitting at the picnic table in the covered area at the rear entrance.     The location is extremely peaceful and relaxing, but it's also a 5 minute drive to the local village. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has all the mod cons you need.The host Aishling is very helpful, and on call 24/7 if need the need to contact her.

    Absolutely loved our short stay here, wish we were staying longer. We will definitely return. A lovely warm and cosy cottage away from the hustle and bustle but with villages 5 and 10 mins drive away. The host Michael was so welcoming. You have everything you need to enjoy your stay and having breakfast in the conservatory with the sun shining in was bliss. The cottage was spotlessly clean.
