Not too many spots in the centre of Tuam. This was ideally located within a few mins walk of major pubs etc. Spotlessly clean, a drop of milk in the fridge so you could make a cuppa, the small things matter. Easy to check in with a lock box, so no need to be working around the providers schedule, you can check in when it suits you. Heat was perfect, very warm and we could adjust it not to mention warm and welcoming inside overall. Small details mean alot, hot water bottle on the bed in case you're a cold person and need that bit extra.Bathroom was fully kitted out with shampoos etc in case you forgot anything. Kitchen had all you would need, two ring cooker plus most utensils you'd need to cook if you were in the mood. Would defo recommend and would defo use again if staying in Tuam.

Everything about our stay was amazing, Bernhard and Petra were absolutely lovely, going above and beyond to make us—and our furry companion, Harvey—feel at home. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that pets are truly valued here. Our spacious room was thoughtfully prepared with water and food bowls, a cozy pet bed that Harvey adored, and even special treats wrapped with a little ribbon—a heartwarming touch! Harvey devoured them instantly. Breakfast was a delight, with delicious food and the divine aroma of fresh coffee filling the air each morning. The location is easy to reach by car and offers a peaceful, picturesque setting. The stunning lake views and the large fenced field in the back were perfect for Harvey to run around and enjoy. Clean, quiet, perfect! We landed in Dublin, went sightseeing then drove to The Bothy for our first night in Ireland. It was the perfect, peaceful, quiet spot for our first night. The owners were lovely. We had everything we needed. She bakes a loaf of soda bread for you and it's delicious! It was the perfect spot for stepping off the rest of our travels! Highly recommend this spot!

Nice comfortable big house. Wood central heating which worked perfect and which was needed because it frooze a few nights. 2 bathrooms and a bath. Nice rural area. Got some help with a flat tire, much appreciated. We had a great time, now of to see more of the beautiful country.

We had such a great time here. The owner was a great communicator and everything was as described. We had a toddler with us and she had so much fun. The bath was the perfect size for her! It was very handy having two separate bathrooms for two couples. The location was great beside the lake so we could swim and fish. We made great use of the garden and picnic bench too. Only a short drive to town for shopping and take away!
