Super friendly hostess, wonderful home cooked breakfast, beautiful garden & country side views to wake up to out the large glass doors. She was very gracious and understanding to let us check in late due to our luggage being lost. You can tell she loves doing this by all the details to make the suite beautiful. Grey Gables is an idyllic stay, especially for any animal lovers, Both of the resident dogs were very friendly and loving, and there are plenty of farm animals to admire as well. The rooms were spacious and clean, and Janet upgraded us to a larger room for free since it was available. We shared a full Irish breakfast as well as the waffles for breakfast, and they were both delicious. Highly recommended for anyone travelling through Southern Ireland to stay here.

The location was lovely, walking distance to Kinsale town (although its at the top of the hill, so some might find it a little tough). There was plenty of free parking onsite aswell. The whole building was really well looked after the decor was warm, inviting, simple with a lovely classical twist and some beautiful pieces of furniture. It was a great first impression of the place, I will say. The owner was a lovely women, very friendly and as she has lived in the area quite a while, can provide guidance on what to see and do. The breakfast was really tasty, one of the best I have ever eaten at a B&B or hotel.
