A place with character. Good wifi. The room has that concept of bathroom so that you can shower also under tropical rain. It might sound strange, but it is perfectly fine in the tropics. Also the location is away from noisy roads.

My stay at Ndalem Diajeng was amazing. Christine was such an accommodating, generous, and kind host. She made me breakfast at 5am when I needed to leave early for Prambanan, as well as offered me fruit from the garden at breakfast and in the evening. The free breakfast every morning is delicious, and always different local dishes. I was able to rent a scooter from the property for a very affordable price, which added so much convenience to my stay there. There was unlimited water available from the water cooler, as well as tea and coffee to make whenever you wanted. The showers had hot water. The rooms had good AC. The wifi was really good. I really enjoyed my stay here, and cannot recommend this place enough. It’s also located about 5mins walk from a great night market that happens every night, and about 20mins walk from Malioboro Street. Terima kasih banyak, Christine!

I stayed four nights. The owner family was so friendly and kind. They helped me plan my itinerary. Breakfast on the terrace was exceptional. I also enjoyed looking at the family's artwork. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay here, it was the perfect way to start our trip in Indonesia. It was very easy to come and go from here.We took a Grab and in 20 mins, we were in the accommodation from the main train station. We rented a bike for our stay (higly recommended if you want to explore and experience the real chaotic Yogyakarta) The common area it's just lovely, warm and very stylish decorated, plants and small decorations full of meaning (pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the place). The room is cosy and bed is super comfy. Also,Hot water in the wild shower :) The best thing about this accommodation is the staff, the real soul of the place. They are very friendly and kind, making sure all your needs are met. If you want to rent a bike they will get it for you, no hustle. You want to go somewhere they will recommend the most scenic route for you. They share their recommendations with us, which was super helpful. They know how to get you from Yogyakarta to any other point on the map with no hustle, just ask them :) We wish all the best to them. It was real pleasure to meet them all. Thank you for making the begging of our trip so smooth. Terima Kasih!!

    I found The property from Instagram. I like the design and the ambience of the villas, and the location is still near to the main attraction of Yogyakarta. Although is surrounded by residences i still found it calming and enjoyable!

    I'm happy to stay at The Volter Yogyakarta. The very friendly service makes me and my family comfortable in this villa. The atmosphere of the interior and exterior design is very beautiful. The facilities, including amenities, bathrooms, a large TV, firepit, and a restaurant space that we can use as a family room, make me comfortable. We are happy and satisfied with our stay at The Volter Yogyakarta The food and drinks are delicious, especially the oxtail soup and coffee.
