The room itself was perfect, everything we could need and comfortable bed, clean bathroom, etc. There is a communal kitchen that you can make coffee in - great if you’re planning an early morning excursion to Mt Bromo! What really made our stay is how accommodating the staff were - even made us breakfast after the cut off time which we didn’t expect but really appreciated! They really cater to the tourists there to see Bromo and have their needs and experience in mind. Overall, we would absolutely book this place again. There is no need to look elsewhere :)

Pak Budhi caters to our need responsively (from jeep to Bromo, jackets, socks, etc). The jeep driver also advise how much to pay if using ojek service and provide good service. Cafe conveniently located the side of the property.

Family room - this room was amazing for what we paid. Three rooms with five beds total as well as a living room and a balcony with a view. The staff all seemed lovely from our interactions. Fantastic location for the hike uo Mt Bromo.

Honestly, it was a great surprise! Comfortable beds, very hot and strong shower, and the best part: a TV with Netflix, which is rather rare even in hotels around Indonesia! Easy communication with the host, who offered us various transfers/tours. The room was very clean, and the location is great, specially if you want to make it to Bromo without a tour. Finally, big thanks to the host that let us take a quick shower after check-out time :)

As much as humidity is present, indeed everywhere in the village, the bed was ok, and the blanket was warm enough for us to sleep alright. The location is good, not far from Bromo Park. It took us 1h walk to get the bottom of the volcano and find a spot to catch sunrise. Despite the negative points we described, it was ok for one night, and anytime we asked something to the staff they could answer our request.

Its different up there! Its a mountain village. Bathroom was clean, even with hot water. No sink, but you get used to this ;) Bed was okay.

Cahyo homestay is well located inside Bromo village that must pay an entrance fee of 250K pp (25 AUD pp), 50K (5 AUD) for vehicles entrance. The property is between the Bromo crater and the King Kong hills. It’s a perfect spot for ppl who want to hike. The room itself is a decent size and in a clean condition given how remote and suburban the area is. Cahyo is a lovely host that has given us good guidelines on how to go about hiking Bomo in the early morning, and had offered hot water for coffee and tea. Would recommend him for hikers.

Very nice, sweet and helpfull owners. They organized for us private tour to Mt. Bromo, which was really great. Tour guide was younger brother of the owner of the house and was amazing. Mother of the house also made for us breakfast, which was was very tasty. Fully recommend this home stay, if you want to visit Bromo and stay in local village.

The location was perfect. We were at a walking distance to the viewpoint of Mount Bromo and of mount Bromo itself. The host was also very friendly and helped us with transport to and out of the village.

The location is great, just at the base of Mt Bromo and inside the village so you have access to all the restaurants in the area. The owners are very friendly and the building is small so you don't have to worry much about noise and getting enough rest before a sunrise hike. It's also a great value for the money, one of the cheaper stays in the Bromo area and with one of the nicer bathrooms from what we could tell browsing through options. Units have a large shower and western toilet.
