This stay was amazing. Ia (it's her home) cooked us a delicious dinner and we had the homemade wine, which was very good. We enjoyed every second. We were also able to learn a bit about the Georgian wine and she show us how they make it. It will stick in our memories and we would come again! Madloba Ia :)

Amazing guesthouse. The room was nice and comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Anna is very welcoming and she arranged my transfer to Omalo in Tusheti with a great driver. I can only recommend to stay at her place.

The host is extremely welcoming and will make you feel at home, and is very willing to share cultural information and organise local activities. We enjoyed a lovely local cuisine cooking class. Guesthouse Alvani is a wonderful place to stay. The garden is a very lovely set up area as well as the terrasse and the house. The hosts are very kind and helpful in every way. They have an authenic Tusheti family background and know everything about the area. The host Ms Naira is a cook and prepares the best food ever! We have not eaten so good on our whole journey in Georgia so far! It is the perfect place to rest and load up your battery before going to Tusheti :)

There were 3 options for breakfast, that we could select the day before by letting the hosts know. The location is amazing, the view of the mountains is mesmerizing, was very relaxing to sit and drink tea from the terrace. Also is quite close to Telavi and other monuments like the Monastery of Alaverdi or the New and old Shuamta's Monasteries. There is a nice restaurant close to the chalets as well as a traditional winery.
