Everything! The facilities were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great attention to detail. Amazing breakfasts. Easy to get in and out of Edinburgh -45 mins on the bus. Lovely hosts - it was wonderful to connect with some locals.

Extremely well located, only 15 mins by foot from the city centre and 20 minutes from Edinburgh castle, the apartments are extremely comfortable and spacious. We had apt 1, 4 and 9, all 1 bedroom apartments, made out of a bedroom and a living room/ kitchenette. We enjoyed the street view from apartment 4 ( located on the ground floor), the outdoor terrace from apartment 1 ( lower ground floor situated) and the tranquility of apartment 9. We expected apartment 4 to be noisy due to the location on the ground floor but we didn’t feel at all disturbed by the comings and goings. The living room however being street oriented was a bit noisy due to the traffic, but that can’t be helped due to the positioning of the apartment.

    I loved the location, right in the centre of the village. I also like the architecture around and the house itself is gorgeous. The owners have a good taste, so I felt like at home. What was really sweet, that there were some sweets and snack, tea, coffee... all the important stuff. Just perfect stay.
