Family run B&B with a wonderful atmosphere. We arranged our stay with Alice, nothing was a problem. Erik conjured up an amazing breakfast for us on request. Both husband and wife live their B&B and it really shows in the accommodations. Every detail has been worked out.

Sanderla Guest House truly felt like home. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and the location was ideal, being close to all the spots on the island we wanted to visit while remaining quiet and tranquil. The host was exceedingly kind and friendly - that alone made the stay worthwhile! In the serve-yourself breakfast room, she provided delicious, freshly baked muffins for breakfast along with many other foods to choose from. An excellent a la carte breakfast served fresh every day: yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs four ways, smoked salmon, bacon, sausages, jam and marmelade, honey. Very convenient location in the outskirts of Kirkwall, central to the Orkney Mainland. Theresa has been a very attentive landlady, also supplying a breakfast to go when we were due out too early. Quick and reliable WiFi, clean and confortable room.
