The scenery was breathtaking, beautiful countryside walks. Super comfortable bed with crisp white linen and a luxurious bath to soak in, not forgetting a really good shower too . Great breakfast, cereals, croissants and granary bread with farm fresh butter, preserves and milk and quality coffee. Jenny is a lovely host, and very informative about the area and has created a really homely atmosphere within this beautiful cottage along with her two very friendly dogs. Really relaxing 😌

From the moment we stepped into the Ibex Inn we were made to feel welcome by initially Steve but all the staff were absolutely lovely even the girl that greated us at breakfast was so welcoming a little ray of sunshine. The bedroom was spacious, clean and had everything you needed the shower was fab plenty of hot water and nice and powerful, bed very comfortable just what we needed after driving through a storm had a great sleep We spent a night in the bar great choice of beer and the locals were so friendly. In the morning we choose a full English breakfast and it was superb the best breakfast I can genuinely say we've ever had faultless, cooked perfectly with excellent ingredients and then we picked up a keg of ale from a small local brewer lovely guy would recommend you give him a visit. We will definitely be back loved our stay thank you for a great stopover xx
