One of the highlights of our stay was the assistance provided by our host in lighting the fireplace and promptly addressing any inquiries we had. Additionally, she ensured that the hot tub was ready for us, adding an extra touch of relaxation to our getaway. The cottage itself is simply stunning, with impeccable cleanliness and a wealth of amenities that catered to our every need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with excellent sleep each night. And let's not forget the breathtaking views from the lodge – they truly added to the magic of our stay. Overall, our experience at Heronry Hideaway was nothing short of fantastic, and I can't wait to return. We had a fabulous stay! Mairi made us feel welcome from the very first moment with her warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality. The house itself is beautiful, well cared for, and set in a breathtaking location. If you’re brave enough, don’t miss the chance to take a dip in the cold but refreshing waters of the lake right in front of the house. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely love to come back!

Very comfortable. The owner was lovely and met us on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Lots of treats dotted around which was great! Lovely patio with table and chairs. Big smart TV. Bathroom was very nice, large, 2 sinks and nice products in the shower. Everything was spotless.

The location was amazing, perfect base for travelling around the amazing attractions. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including very well equipped kitchen, washing facilities, coffee machine, milk and even a bottle of wine! Tina who greeted us was very friendly and offered some very good advice on things to do - thank you Tina :)

    This was our first night in Scotland and after a long day travelling, this was just perfect. Easy access with great off-street parking! The room was tidy and clean, was a 5 minutes walk to the village centre. Had great sceneries and the host left a manual with all the top attractions of the area, including all the best food places near by! Bed was super comfy and pod was very spacious! Would definitely love to come back here again!

    Everything! From being greeted by Mo & Brigida, to the fantastic location and property itself, we were blown away. The apartment was exceptionally clean, cosy and had more than we were expecting for a holiday rental. The view of the lake from the bedroom was very special and a nice thing to wake up to. The homemade muffins were a nice touch and very tasty!
