Only 5 minutes drive from the airport. Very close to grocery shop. Easy check in with the code for the key box from the owners. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals by ourselves. There is even a communal box where you can access basic cooking needs.

Excellent location. A beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean apartment equipped with all necessary appliances. Wonderful view from the windows. We had a wonderful experience staying in these apartments. They are conveniently located for traveling around the western and northern parts of the Faroe Islands. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, a cozy terrace with a view of the fjord, a spacious living room with a fireplace and a panoramic window. The apartment was clean and spacious. Location is fantastic, since the old town of Thorshofn was in walking distance. Also around the corner was a small grocery store. The bakery down the street is also something I would highly recommend. We asked the owner if we could do some laundry and straight away he offered us his own laundry room. Only thing that was missing in my opinion was a dishwasher, but that’s just me being lazy ;)

    Lovely place in a small village near the airport. The house is well equipped and the owners even let us check in a bit earlier. Lots of essentials, such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee and many others were provided. Free parking right in front of the house. We stayed there for 1 night on a rainy day in July 2024 and really enjoyed it.

    We had an absolutely fantastic time at this cozy holiday house! The amenities were superb, and the highlight was definitely the wonderful jacuzzi—a perfect way to relax after a hiking trip. Perfect to explore the Vagar island. The host was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The charming decor and warm ambiance made it a truly memorable stay.

    We enjoyed nice view of harbour and Mydvagur village of our appartment every morning. We also appreciated the equipment, including all the necessary stuff for basic cooking, as well as other things, such as cleaning utensils, or soap and hair dryer in the bathroom.
