Everything in the apartment is of the highest quality: from the furniture, to the kitchen equipment, to the bathroom (with a very generously spaced walk-in shower, high quality porcelain, and a hand made maple wood counter), to the towels, down to the coffee beans. The owners have set this up to the highest standards, with great taste and eye for detail. And then of course there is the magnificent view....and a wonderful restaurant within a five minutes walk....and super friendly and helpful owners.

Wonderful location with views of the town square. Beautiful room, designed with attention to every detail. Easy to use sauna. We also liked the tastefully-designed common area which offered a coffee maker, water heater, plates, cups and dining utensils. Creaky floorboards added a rustic vibe.

The apartment was designed in local style with amazing details. Everything was thought though and we had all we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped, on the table was fresh mint water for us. The apartment was clean and very cozy. Great place to stay with separate exit to the garden and nice place for kids to play. The owners were very respectful and nice to us. The parking was available for free in the territory.

It's a welcoming place, ideal for a family of four. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. We appreciated the availability of board games for entertainment. Beautiful old traditional house in super location. It was August but chilly and the owner lit the Kachelofen for us and provided freshly ground coffee. She also recommended a very good restaurant in the village, ‘Kirkenwirt’ where we ate very well without having to fight the hordes of tourists in Hallstatt.

    This was a lovely property right in the heart of the Austrian Alps. The owner provided some discount cards to local attractions. They also provided a detailed list of events happening in the region during the dates we were there. The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. The village was lovely and the surrounding activities was wonderful. I would return.

    We were 4 nights in the ground floor apartment, 5 adults. The apartment is spacious and includes 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. The view around the house is lovely, the village of Rusbach is very close to the Gosau and Hallstatt lakes. There is a supermarket a 5-minute drive from the village. The apartment is hot, but since we were in the apartment in the second half of September, when we opened the windows in the evening it was pleasant.

    Amazing apartment. Clean, well maintained, includes everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable vacation (especially comfortable beds). We were a family with four children and there was enough space for everyone. Elizabeth, the owner of the place, went out of her way to make us comfortable and relaxed, and was available for any question or request. The village is also quiet and charming.
