Our stay at Baven-Toven Naturae was absolutely incredible! My girlfriend, our two furry friends, and I spent a magical weekend there and every moment was pure bliss. From the breathtaking natural surroundings to the warm hospitality, this place felt amazing. The cozy and thoughtfully designed accommodations blended perfectly with the peaceful environment, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hiking trails nearby. Exploring the area with our dogs was an unforgettable experience—the fresh air, stunning views, and serene atmosphere made each hike truly magical. The food was another standout! Every meal was prepared with fresh ingredients and so much care. What made this trip even better was how dog-friendly the place is. Our two dogs had an amazing time running around and enjoying nature just as much as we did. Location was great on the periphery of the ( small city) so it was quiet at night while the next morning u could head out and visit the town after a short walk Metí and her son are so kind and hospitable. Liked the cat too Seldom seen a place as clean as Metis guesthouse. She maintains it so well. The view from the balcony is awesome. It was one of the highlights of my visit. Great to be there early in the morning. I parked the car for 3 euros in the private parking lot below. Was alright. From the parking lot, it's a 40 metres walk on steps to arrive at the porch. You then walk through the Cody garden to arrive at the front door. The room itself is spatious. Mattress of good quality.

The staff (family) was really nice even if we were in low season. The home made food (we took the dinner there in extra and the included breakfast. Both of the meal were authentic traditional food and very great ! The dinner offered us the chance to taste plenty of lovely dishes. Room was small but comfortable and the bathroom and the shower were great. The whole room was clean and tidy. The location the this restaurant/guest house is excellent. Inside the castle (old town), you are at 2 minutes walk from the bazaar and the museum.
