The beds were incredibly comfortable, shower was great and warm, with a clean toilet, the view and location made it a 10, as the bedrooms can look to either the sunrise or sunset. And to top it off, the food was insane - best Nepali veg curry I’ve ever had.

Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff and owners. Delicious breakfast and they change it everyday. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. I recommend Hotel Rupakot and Rooftop Restaurant.

Nirvana Kuti is located in a special spot, so very close to Durbar Square, yet in a quiet courtyard oozing with Nepali history and culture, and only 20 minute walk from the Thamel district. So glad we found this place. Thoroughly recommended.

Gurung's Home is a very nice place run by a family. Breakfast was great! Highlight in the masala tea. My room was pretty comfortable, and had a private bathroom. The location is a bit away from the crowded touristic center, which makes it more quiet and local. I really enjoyed my time there and the staff was super friendly and cool!

The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.
