The room had charging plugs right near the bed, and each room is its own floor so the bathroom — adjacent — is private. There is a water dispenser and a kettle on each floor as well. Bobby suggested that we use the roof are to dry clothes, but he also provides a clothespin rack inside (it’s monsoon season). Bobby was super helpful — met me at the airport, showed us where to change money, helped us buy umbrellas, booked our Tourist bus to Pokhara, arranged for a taxi pickup, and each was a value-for-money experience. He let us store our luggage for our days away for a small fee. The room is only fan-cooled, but I’d gladly put up with the “a little steamy” for the location and the support.

The terrace made a huge difference, with a 360 degrees view, spending sunrise and sunsets, was amazing. And of course having the Stumpa and lake view made the stay have a cherry on top of the cake. The room is big and comfortable, the sharing kitchen was very useful! Thank you for everything and until next time!

It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

The location was fantastic and the heritage features made it feel really special. The garden/dining area was peaceful and well landscaped. The new staff member Aashish was amazing and couldn’t do enough to help me and make some great recommendations about places to visit.
