I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

Impressive authentic interrior within the whole building. Our room was very cozy and comfortable - with hot water, all hygiene items. The owner even let us choose a bigger room. The staff is super friendly and supportive, their hospitality is amazing. We had a welcome coffee with cookies and fruits on arrival. The breakfast is served in a nice roof-top terrace.

The location was superb, if you have a room at the street side you are overlooking the Pimbahal pond with his hindu temples and a boedist stupa on the left. It is a less than 10 min walk from burban square. The host and his adorable wife are the kind if persons that make you spontaneously burst into Melanie's song Beautiful people, helpful, friendly, concerned about your wellbeing

Great terrace with delicious breakfast served to the table by very nice staff. The room is very beautiful, very large, well decorated, in good taste. Keep in mind that Newari style has low ceilings :-) and adapt to it. The Newari windows were gorgeous, nice to sit in the rocking chair next to the window, in the morning. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
