I walked with a camel among golden dunes, slept under a tent woven with stories, and woke up to tea prepared with love. I will return… without a doubt.

The place is managed by a berber family, who made our stay perfect: nice welcoming, amazing dinner and breakfast, and finally nice guided tour of the near ziz valley until the old kasbah. Located in a charming, authentic Moroccan village, away from the main hustle and bustle, what Martine and her helpers provide is a truly unique experience. From the beautifully decorated rooms and the peaceful garden setting to the delicious food and genuine hospitality — everything is done with care and heart. Her dogs are very friendly and even joined us on our stroll through the village. We are grateful for the opportunity to discover this oasis. Thank you, Martine!

Pasamos una noche increíble en el campamento en medio del desierto. El paseo en camello al atardecer fue precioso, y la llegada al campamento superó nuestras expectativas. La haima era cómoda, limpia y tenía baño privado. La cena deliciosa y el ambiente muy especial, con música bereber en vivo junto al fuego. Ver el cielo estrellado fue una experiencia única. Todo el equipo fue muy amable y atento. ¡Una experiencia que nunca olvidaremos!

Situado en Agoudal, Auberge & Restaurant Agoudal tiene un jardín, salón compartido, terraza y WiFi gratis. This is a great place to stay in Agoudal, El-habib is truly an excellent host. He cooked us a really delicious meal, one of the best we've had in our time in Morocco. He also made us feel welcome and gave us an insight into life in Agoudal. Overall we had a great experience here and we'd totally recommend it.

Situado en Hassilabied, Dar Duna cuenta con hospedaje con WiFi gratis, aire acondicionado, y acceso a un jardín con una terraza. The location is great. Just walk 10 minutes across the road and you will enter the desert. The owner offered a very reasonable price for us to ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset and enjoy the golden desert. It was beautiful. We also took the Merzouga 4X4 tour to enjoy the black desert, Berber villages, and African music.

Ofreciendo vista a la ciudad, Sahara wellness camp en Merzouga tiene hospedaje, un jardín, una terraza, un restaurante y acceso a una pista de esquí. I can definitely recommend this desert camp which is, I guess, a midrange option in Erg Chebbi but with an excellent value for money. We stayed two nights which i wholeheartedly recommend if you have time. The staff are awesome and friendly, the meals are very tasty, the bathroom is clean and always available, sandboarding is available for free. We rode camels on the way there and took a 4X4 on the way back and an took an interesting 3 hour tour to the nomad village and other interesting local sights. There are even lots of animals from cats to goats which makes it super interesting for children.

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent facilities. The food was exceptional, making our group of 13 feel right at home. Initially as we were driving through the dark roads to what felt like the middle of nowhere, we had some concerns about choosing a place in a small village. However, upon our late-night arrival, we were warmly welcomed. We brought our dinner with us as we had enough of Tajine; they were extremely kind to provide us with fresh orange juice to accompany our meal. The next morning, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the palm oasis, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast - fresh avocados, salads, and traditional Moroccan dishes. We enjoyed hiking to the nearby mountains and exploring the beautiful palm groves. I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Khira (I hope I spelled that correctly), who went above and beyond during a challenging moment. When my daughter became ill during the night, Khira was incredibly helpful. She accompanied us to the hospital, assisted with translations, and supported us throughout the entire process, all while maintaining a positive and kind demeanor. The next morning, despite her long night, she was back to her regular routine. We are extremely grateful for her assistance. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay in the area.
