The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. At the guest house, units are fitted with a private bathroom. We stayed at Tree Trails for 3 nights. The experience was unique and unforgettable. The location of the hotel is in the middle of a tree forest, very peaceful and calm (generators running continuously but are not that bothersome). The room was very clean, AC functioning properly, bed was comfortable. The view from the tree house was breathtaking and the pool refreshing. What made our stay really special was the incredibly kind and welcoming staff. A very special thanks to Anjali Rathnayake who went out of her way for us to have the best stay possible. The unexpected cherry on the cake was the food served at the restaurant! Truly five stars!! Chef Nissanka is a gem, highly experienced and preparing a wonderful selection of dishes with a lot of care and finesse. Tree Trails filled us with serenity and peace. If you are passing through Sigirya this is a place not to miss!

It is so affordable, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the location is perfect with restaurants at your doorstep and a view of Sigirya rock just outside the property. But the best part of this accomodation is the host family, who do everything to make your stay perfect and with genuine care. We also did a cooking class with mum and grandma which was so interesting and many laughs and the breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had. At the end we were so sad to leave but hope to return one day to stay again as we feel like family members. At the bed and breakfast, every unit includes bed linen and towels. It was such a lovely place to stay couple of nights! Location was perfect, walking distance from the restaurants and Lion rock but still you have your own peace. The host family was so friendly and helpful. They arranged a transfer for us when we needed it. Breakfast was super delicious! Also it was fun to follow all the wildlife in the garden and yard, especially the beautiful peacock.

I expected to be only one night in Dambulla, but I felt so confortable in this Villa hat finally I decided stay tree nights and move from here to visit Sirigiya and National Park to see elephants and came back. Also you have bus from here to many other places, like Anuradapura and Trincomalee. Ishara and Madusanka, the people who work in the hotel, were very, very nice, they help me with anything I could need, so kindness people, always with a smile in their faces. They mantein the place very, very clean, spotless. If they don't have something you need they try to help with all their possibilities. Wonderful experience here. Thank you

At the bed and breakfast, the units have bed linen and towels. An amazing stay right in the jungle! Clean rooms, amazing breakfast! A restaurant just across the street, where we went every evening! The price is very good for what you get :-) The owner is so friendly and we loved the house dog who was very cute and kind and protected our terasse from monkeys or elephants. We had a Tuktuk so it was easy accessible!
