And the breakfast was amazing. I was sad not to be able to stay longer.

Susee was THE BEST host we've had in 3 weeks of Sri Lanka. Helped us out with planning, making trips, moving us around. His daughters made us such an amazing breakfast, each day you get a different breakfast. Also one of our favorites we've had during our stay here! Every day of the week is a different breakfast. We also got a juice and a snack during the day!! The place is convenient as it has its private beach and it's not too far away from the center too. We'd love to come again! At the bed and breakfast, the units come with bed linen and towels. The whole property is just wow! Covered with in house garden, the place is the best for a leisure stay in Bentota. Rooms are quite good and spacious. One gets abpvt kitchen which is useful if someone is planning to stay for longer and wants to cook. If you are a dog lover, then there's a cherry on the top - their dog Mashi(3 yr old Doberman). She is very friendly and rarely barks. Whenever she needs someone new, she often smiles. The beach is at a 5 min walk from the house(don't go by the Google maps route, ask the host - there's a shorter route across railway track) There are a lot of restaurants near the beach. Breakfast is also available at the stay and it's pretty good. One of the bests that I had in my whole Sri Lanka trip. The hosts have a Tuktuk and a boat so they can help you arrange boat safari or nearby market trips if required.

Spotless bathroom with the best shower. Outside area with table/chairs and pool just outside the door. Genuinely friendly, help- and respectful family that owns the guesthouse. Made us feel at home immediately. They helped us with scooter rental, tuk tuk transport and all other questions that popped up during our stay. Star of the family is - of course - the dog Tio. Unbeatable price/value.
